An Indian actor says Fiji is a beautiful place and the people are so friendly and “that is why we keep coming back here.”

“We love the people and the smiles,” said Rishi Deepak who was in the country last week with his director, Devesh Singh.

They arrived from New Zealand to hunt for locations for their upcoming movie.

Mr Deepak, who has acted in the locally shot movie, Highway to Suva, said they wanted to start shooting their upcoming movie venture Fiji With Love with Dreamz Production.

“When it comes to Fiji, I don’t have enough words to express my feelings,” Mr Deepak said.

He said this was his fourth trip to Fiji and he was in love with the warm culture and they had received amazing support and love from the fans.

“Fiji people have still maintained their cultural values which always remind me of India.”

Mr Deepak said Fiji was his second home and that was why he kept coming back.

“The people of Fiji are very humble and they make us feel so comfortable by their friendly nature and great hospitality.”

He said the night life in Suva was very interesting, energetic and full of life.

“My favourite restaurant in Suva is Ashiyana and my favourite place is Coral Coast, Sigatoka and Denarau Island, Nadi.

Mr Deepak said he enjoyed eating sugarcane the most. He left the country on Monday.
