The Bollywood Indiana group has promised to entertain and fascinate the audiences at the Vodafone Hibiscus at Albert Park, Suva today.

Group member Parminder Narula said this was her first trip to Fiji and the support from the people during the group’s shows at the festival was tremendous.

“All our 11 members performed at the Bollywood Nite on Wednesday and the crowd just could not stop clapping and cheering,” Ms Narula said.

She said the show and the crowd was what they expected and the response from the audience was overwhelming.

“Fiji is just like India, in fact I don’t even Miss India because this is just like home,” Ms Narula said.

She said most of the group members had been to Fiji and had performed for the Fijian crowd.

“I strongly believe that our visit took the mutual relationship between Fiji and India to another level.”

She said she was always passionate about dancing and performing in front of different crowds was simply amazing.

Ms Narula said they would leave for China after performing for the Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North in Vanua Levu next week.

The group’s tour was sponsored by Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India.
