The Rewa soccer team is expecting a good outing this weekend against All Freight Logistics Suva in their INKK Mobile Battle of the Giants semifinal on Saturday.

Rewa Football president Nazeel Buksh said Suva would be in for a surprise.

“We have played Suva in the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National League and they have been the most consistent team for the last two to three years,” he said.

“We have picked up a lot from the Fiji FACT and we are a changed team now. The stakes will be high in this game.

“It will be exciting match because when we meet, there will be that rivalry.”

“We will rely on defence. Our strength is our defence, we have studied Suva’s game and we know what to do and are waiting to see how Suva will counterattack,” he said.

All players are fit to play except Shelvin Prasad and Epeli Saukuru who are injured.

“Shelvin has a shoulder injury while Epeli pulled a hamstring during training. We will analyse them on Thursday.”

Rewa and Suva will play the first semifinal at 3pm followed by Ba and Lautoka at 5pm at the ANZ Stadium, Suva, on Saturday.
