Vilikesa Soko, 30, who was arrested for his alleged involvement in the robbery at City Forex Foreign Exchange in Nadi, was buried yesterday at the Nasinu Cemetery.

Family and friends gathered at his residence at Kalabu Housing in Nasinu to pay their last respects. Mr Soko left behind his wife, Kelera Waqanisau and his three children.

He died last week at the Lautoka Hospital after he was arrested for his alleged involvement in the daylight robbery.

He was from Levukaidaku, Matuku in Lau and had maternal links to Vanuabalavu.

He was the sole bread winner of his family.

Emosi Sailo of the Church of Jesus Christ, while delivering one of the eulogies, said: “Vili was known as a humble and straight forward man.

“He was a man who always worked hard for the betterment of his family,” Mr Sailo said.
