Fourteen-year-old Mulan Kamoe was overwhelmed with her performance during the Pacific Oceania Junior Championship in Lautoka, yesterday.

Mulan, who won the Under-15 grade final against Palau, will now be travelling to Australia for the Oceania Tennis Championship on Saturday.

“I am nervous for Australia even if it may not be my first time to experience this. I will give my best performance,” she said.

Mulan, who is also in the U15 doubles team with Ruby Coffin, dominated in their grade finishing in first place.

Pacific Oceania development officer Darran Wrighton said he was impressed with the performance from the participants.

Other players representing Fiji at the Oceania Tennis Championship on Saturday are Ruby Coffin, Vienna Kumar, Shivneel Chand and Annie Shannon. The team departs Nadi on Friday.
