The FijiFirst leader and Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama told party supporters at their family day at Syria Park, Nausori yesterday that serving people was always a priority for the party.

He said during their leadership they had made things easier for all Fijians and they expected to improve when elected.

‘’Past elected governments made promises to get the votes but we don’t make promises but make things happen,” he said.

He said they had a new road map for the new Fiji that they were building and many supporters had endorsed this.

The FijiFirst leader said the real battle for leadership was just between the FijiFirst and SODELPA.

“Other political parties have a very slim chance to win,” he said.

The Prime Minister’s popularity was evident yesterday, when people including the children rushed to him to shake hands as he entered Syria Park.

He stopped to talk to the children and elders. He said FijiFirst would prioritise children’s development.

For the first time, he said, they were now having free education right up to secondary and loans were provided for futher tertiary education.

In 30 years time he said Fiji would be an educated country.

He said this year’s general elections was very important to all and they should vote for FijiFirst as it had the leadership to move the country forward.
