$300,000 Deal for Northern Festival

Vodafone Fiji has further strengthened its bond with the 2014 Vodafone Festival of the Friendly North committee by signing a partnership deal worth $300,000 for the next three years.

This was announced by Vodafone Fiji chief marketing officer, Sanjeewa Perera, during the festival crowning on Saturday night at Subrail Park in Labasa. Mr Perera said this was to promote togetherness and enhance relationships between the communities, the festival committee and associate partners.

“Together with the Friendly North Committee we have taken the festival to new heights by initiating projects for the northern people to benefit from,” Mr Perera said.

“The festival not only becomes a source of earning but also benefits the needy through its charity chest.

“The opening of the new Kidney Dialysis Centre this year through the festival’s charity collections is evident of the social benefit of the festival,” Mr Perera said.

He also said this year marked a special celebration for Vodafone Fiji as they embarked on their 20th year in operation.

“We continue to provide communication solutions to empower our customers and now with more innovative solutions as we initiate the roll-out phase of our 4G LTE network in the Northern Division” Mr Perera said.
