Former Fiji Labour Party supporter Shankaran Manu says he now sees things more clearly after the FijiFirst campaign at Balata High School in Tavua.

Mr Manu said he had been hearing many rumours against FijiFirst. But after attending the campaign rally last night, he said he was sure of where his vote and allegiance would go.

“I have heard many things about FijiFirst and today I have been assured that they’re all lies. One of the reasons why I had changed from FLP to FijiFirst is because I can see changes,” he said.

Mr Manu said that there would always be dirty politics and from his experience, many parties from the past who had taken over government, did not keep their promise.

“From the past there have been parties which only make promises but no action. However, with FijiFirst, we can see developments taking place and great assistance is being given to our children,” he said.

Meanwhile first-time voter Mereseini Dalivalu from Waikubukubu has also witnessed the truth about the party.

“I have heard a lot of rumours from the village about FijiFirst from other parties and today I have been informed more about the party policies and what they believe in.

“This is the type of party that we would want to form government and I will be looking forward to vote for them,” she said.

Ms Dalivani said that she was aware of the voting system from the media.
