The East West taxi base at Nausori has declared its full support for the FijiFirst Party.

The base’s official opening coincided with the party’s Family Fun day at Syria Park in Nausori on Saturday.

Base managing director Jona Robanakadavu said taxi drivers benefitted from the Voreqe Bainimarama led-government’s policies.

“We are very happy with this government for giving us what we need,’’ he said.

“Since they came in, Bainimarama-Government has been very helpful. All my drivers and their families are able to achieve what they want because of what this government has done for them by paying for our children’s school fees,” Mr Robanakadavu said.

He said they would also be painting their taxis with the FijiFirst stickers to pledge their support.

“We will do whatever it takes despite the expenses because we really like this government and we support them.

“We believe this party will win and lead the country after the elections and we look forward to seeing them in government again after the elections.”
