The divisional education officer north, Satya Nand Shandil, has called on parents to ensure that their children attend school in the third term.
The call came as children around the country prepared for school yesterday after the last term holiday.
Mr Shandil said parents should ensure their children attended school today because the third term is a busy one and high school students would be preparing for external exams.
“Parents need to supervise their children and ensure that their children attend classes on this busy term.
“The third term is important; parents must ensure their kids have the necessary school materials,” he said.
