Fiji FA Postpones Nadi, Labasa Clash
Fiji Football has postponed Sunday’s Fiji Sun/ Skipper Tuna National Football League clash between Nadi and Labasa following requests from districts.
National Football League secretary Amitesh Pal said the two districts asked for recovery time following last week’s 2014 Inkk Mobile Battle of Giants tournament.
The match was rescheduled for September 21.
“We had requests from the districts if they needed time to prepare and recover,” Pal said.
It has been confirmed that 10 matches still to be played, five of which will be played next week.
Labasa will be playing twice next week in Viti Levu, against Nadroga and Ba. The Babasiga Lions play Ba on Saturday before Ba faces Navua. Rewa is also expected to host Suva in a night game next Wednesday at Ratu Cakobau Park.
