“The tournament is sanctioned by Fiji Rugby Union and we hope to unearth another star in this tournament.”

Vakanawa also said the purpose of tournament was to upgrade the gymnasium for the neighbouring Sorokoba and Sasa rugby clubs.

“This is one step of building a proper gym for the two clubs which are affiliated to the Ba Rugby Union.

It is something to give back to the community as far as rugby is concerned.

“We have realised the need for a proper gymnasium for weight training in order to strengthen the upper body of the players which is something lacked.”
