For the past 51 years the National Federation Party has respected the indigenous people, the iTaukei, Labasa people have been told.

Speaking to supporters at a party rally at the Labasa Civic Centre yesterday, election candidate Faizal Koya claimed: “We have never stepped on their toes.”

“We have respected all religions and we have respected the rule of law,” he said.

He told voters to exercise their democratic rights with great honesty and vote wisely for people to lead this country.

“You all must realise that NFP are coming in this election with the clean hands that we do not have blood on our hands,” he said.

“NFP is talking about good government, transparency and good policies under the leadership of their leader Biman Prasad.

“I challenge you that I am going to stand in court as far as law and order is concerned.

“NFP is one party, one nation and respect for all.”
