The first pour of Paradise Beverages’ new brewhouse, which is part of an $18 million investment, has been delayed slightly.

Major shareholder, Coca Cola Amatil, has confirmed this.

Coca Cola Amatil spokesperson, Sally Loane, said the delay has been as a result of building issue.

“The first brew is now expected to be poured in mid-February 2015 instead of December this year,” she said.

But Ms Loane said the $18 million renovation and rebuilding of Paradise Beverages’ existing brewery is on track for completion by mid-2015.

In terms of exports, Ms Loane said this year had been about establishing their brands in certain markets with solid growth expected in 2015.

“Exports markets for Paradise Beverages premium beers and spirits have been established in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Japan with our first order of rum dispatched for Hong Kong this month,” she said.

For new products in the alcohol space, Ms Loane said Paradise Beverages has a very exciting pipeline of innovative new products.
