As the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League resumes this week, Rewa are hoping to end the season on a high note.

Rewa Football Association president Nazeel Buksh said there would be a lot of expectation from them after winning the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament.

“For the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League we want to finish on a high note and there will be a lot of pressure to win because we won the B.O.G so our next two matches will be very important.”

Rewa faces All Freight Logistics Suva on Friday and Buksh said it is all or nothing now.

“We are currently in fourth place and we have an outside chance of getting into the top two,”Buksh said.

“We also play Nadroga after Suva and Nadroga wants to win to avoid relegation, so you can see the tough position we are put in right now because both teams will be out to win and the pressure is on us to make sure they don’t.”

Being champions of the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants tournament, Rewa have planned to celebrate with family and those who have been behind the team this Saturday.

“What we are thinking of doing is giving the players a treat along with their families, our sponsors and people who have worked behind the scenes with the team,” Buksh said.

“We will be having a dinner where gifts and the prizemoney of $11,000 will be given to the players.”
