The Telecom Fijiana 7s team aims to top Pool B and qualify for the 2014/2015 IRB Sevens Women’s World Series at the Shek Kip Mei Stadium in Hong Kong this weekend.

The team departed for Hong Kong on Monday night.

“We are going with an aim to top Pool B and to make the top four,” team manager Selita Koroi said.

The Fijiana is in Pool B with Argentina, Japan and Kenya.

“We’ve never played Argentina and Kenya before, but we have beaten Japan in the World Cup qualifying round.

“All the players are ready to go and ready.”

The four quarterfinalists will qualify as core teams for IRB World Women’s Seven Series 2014–2015.
