Ba and Nadogo will meet in the Under-12 final in the 39th CJ Patel Fiji Primary Schools Inter-District Championship at the ANZ Stadium today.

Ba defeated defending champions Navua 2-1 in extra spell while Nadogo ousted newcomers Navosa in a penalty shootout to win 2-1 yesterday.

Ba captain Mohammed Muzakkir Nabil said they had learned a lot after the semifinal and were looking forward to a good game against Nadogo.

“We are happy that we have won our semifinal match against Navua as it was a good game. And we’re also looking forward to a good game in the final tomorrow (today).

“We want all Ba fans to come out in numbers and give their support to us,” Nabil said.

Ba coach Arveen Chand said their main aim was to return home victorious.

“We last won in Tavua in 2012 and this year we want to come back strongly and win the competition,” Chand said.

“We’re ready for the final, the team is physically and spiritually prepared and we want all the Ba fans to come out in numbers and show their support.”

Nadogo team captain Tomasi Rasolo is confident they will take back the trophy to the Northern Division.
