How about listening to all of Gilman Lasaisuva’s hit songs and all contained in one CD? Well, the wait is about to be over as that CD is going to be released in November.

Speaking to Garam Masala, he says, the CD will be titled Gilman’s Classics.

“All these hit songs were recorded in days of cassettes but we will convert it and it will all be put down in one CD,” Gilman said.

One of Gilman’s hit songs Vorolaki Au was recorded in the Makare’s first album where he sang a duet with Rosi Loa front man Jim Ratusila.

Gilman confirmed that hits songs like Lakeba, Ra Matau, Sevataki Dina Sara and So Na Bogi, So Na Siga are going to be in the new release.

“There are not going to be many changes in the arrangement but for only one song Sevataki Dina Sara. If you hear the original tune it’s a duet with Lela Seruvakula. But now Lela is residing in New Zealand so I’m getting a female artist to fill in for her,” he added.
