InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort & Spa has been named the best Fijian Property at the prestigious Hotel Management (HM) Awards held in Sydney the past week.

Vomo Island Resort was highly commended in this category.

InterContinental Fiji credited this success to an uncompromising dedication to delivery, quality, service to every guest and the hard work of their team.

Area general manager, Erik Stuebe, said: “The resort has long been praised for not only its exceptional facilities, but that intangible factor that guests fall in love with and brings them back to their home on Natadola Bay time and time again.”

South Pacific GM

Meanwhile, even though Fiji was not awarded the best South Pacific General Manager Award, two of our GM’s were highly commended for their work.

They are Peter Hopgood from the Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji and Bob Speed from Wyndham Fiji Resort Denarau Island.

Those on the shortlist from Fiji also included Mr Stuebe, Gerard Knight from Radisson Blu, Mark Leslie from Vomo Island Resort, Shane Cunning from Starwood Hotels and Resorts Fiji and Samoa and Steve Anstey from Ahura Resorts.
