Eight top teams in Ovalau have confirmed their spots for the much-anticipated two-day 2014 Pacific Energy Ovalau 7s tournament, which kicks off at Nasau Park this Friday.

The eight clubs are Waqavuka, Bukawaqa, CYM Marist, St John’s Draiba, Natubari, Tauranga, Yalovata and Combined Services.

Tournament organiser Seresio Druguta said excitement was very high after confirmation that the national team would play in a two-day tourney in Levuka for the first time.

“National 7s coach Ben Ryan returning with the Fiji 7s team is the talk of the town here in Levuka and we expect a big crowd over both days of the Pacific Energy Ovalau 7s. Their participation is a major boost for us,” he said.

All teams are requested to pay their $250 registration fee as soon as possible to confirm their entry and they can contact Druguta on 8391389 for more information.
