Social Democratic Liberal Party leader Ro Teimumu Kepa was emotional yesterday after casting her vote at the Rewa District School polling station.
“It’s been eight years since the people of Fiji have the chance to decide who they want in government,” she said.
“I think everyone is happy and very relieved that they can come and make their choice known as to who they want to be in government in the next four years.”
Ro Teimumu was also happy about the good turn-out of voters at the Rewa District School polling station.
“We’ve done our part, it’s now up to the people to decide,” the SODELPA leader said.
