More election results will be announced today.
But the final confirmed results would be available in three to four days time said Supervisor of Elections Mohammed Saneem.
Mr Saneem rejected a submission by some political parties including SODELPA, Fiji Labour Party, National Federation Party and the People’s Democratic Party to stop counting because they had raised some issues.
“These are very general issues. They need to be exact and particularly submitted to the Fijian Elections Office in order for us to consider,” he said
One of the issues raised by the political parties was the inclusion of large-sized files and envelopes in the ballot boxes.
Mr Saneem said: “We deal with each case on a case-by-case basis. What they are saying are just allegations.”
