Roofing & Profiles’ Cyclone Certified Roofing Products Sales Increases

Since launching of the cyclonically-certified roofing products in February this year, Roofing & Profiles (Fiji) Limited has surely noted an increase in sales.

Roofing & Profiles was always confident in its roofing products that they manufacture and that it was of highest quality, meeting all the requirements of Fijian Building Codes and Cyclonic standards.

The testing was done at James Cook University and University of Adelaide in Australia.

The three profiles that are Cyclonic certified are SuperDek®, CorruDek® and TileDek® which are manufactured from Zincalume®, Galvanised, Aluminium and Colorbond® XRW and Ultra® coils from NZ Steel.

Roofing & Profiles general manager, Johnny Venter, believes the products now give the company a stronger marketing strength to promote and sell the product locally and regionally in terms of exports as well.

“Roofing & Profiles strongly believes people now feel much safer buying Roofing & Profiles products given its products are the only cyclonically-certified profiles in Fiji,” he said.

“Also since we are moving to the modern world of infrastructure with new design concepts, engineers/consultants/architects are being more educated with young team and new ideas.

“The change in weather system is also bringing about stronger cyclones so it is very important to use cyclonic certified products.”

Mr Venter said Roofing & Profiles roofing products are the only tested and certified products in Fiji.

“Roofing & Profiles made sure it is with the times and produce a product that is accepted in all the development and projects,” he said.

Not only has the sales increased locally but the export demand has also increased.

Meanwhile, during the launch of these products in February, Hardeep Singh, had won the lucky door prize when his business card was pulled out of the box.

Mr Singh won two return airfares to Melbourne plus $1000 spending money.
