“Looking at the outcome of results, I have seen that FijiFirst is winning and I respect the outcome of results,” Mr Rafiq said.

“From the results announced in the radio and television, we know who is going to form the new government.
“People need to put aside their differences and try and work together so that we can move forward for the betterment of our people.
“For the best interest of our nation, we should stop criticising and we need to support and work together with this Government so that our nation progresses.
“I thank the Fijian Elections Office for the good work they have done and also thank the Supervisor of Elections, Mohammad Saneem on getting the job done during this election.
“Now, we should focus on our country so that it develops and progresses. I thank Mr Bainimarama and other candidates of FijiFirst for having an overwhelming support from the people and now we join him so that our nation progress peacefully and we live happily,” he said.
