Coca-Cola Amatil continues to be optimistic in its view of trading conditions in Fiji.

This follows the Fijian business delivering solid volume and earnings growth for the half year ended June 30, 2014.

The company headquartered in Australia said this growth was driven by steady economic growth conditions and a strong focus on ranging, availability and pack price architecture.

The company’s Fiji and New Zealand earnings (combined) increased by 12 per cent in Australian dollars for the half year ended June 30, 2014.

Spokesperson Sally Loane said Fijians continue to love consuming Coca-Cola beverage brands which was evident in their financials.

“All our non-alcoholic brands showed good growth in the first half.  Powerade was our strongest growing brand,” she said.

In terms of new products, Ms Loane said they are about to re-launch a new and improved Coke Zero formulation into the Fijian market.

“This is in planning now, and timed for late October of this year. Watch this space!” she said.
