The Panthers reached the Vodafone Cup Top 8 semifinal after losing to Saru Dragons 14-24 at Churchill Park, Lautoka earlier this month.

“We’re happy that we reached the semifinal,” Dakuitoga said.

“We reached the quarterfinal in 2013 and we made sure we go a level up this season. If we fall we need to get up and prepare ourselves again for the next season.”

Dakuitoga acknowledges the fans and families for their support this season. He also reminded the players to put in the extra effort in 2015.

“We thank the parents for allowing their children to come for training and giving their bus fare every Saturday. The Panthers rounded off their season with the awards night at Central Cuisine on Friday night.

Awards: Reserve Grade-best forward- Sunia Tokoniau, best backline player- Osea Tobia, best player- Semesa Veisorovi

Top 8: Best backline player- Metui Koroi, best forward player- Maikeli Dakuitoga, rookie of the year – Hauga Tokona. Player of the Year; Isoa Qionimacawa.
