The Lautoka Maroons will fight tooth and nail to remain in the Fiji Rugby Union major union, says coach Viliame Satala. The Maroons face 2014 Telecom B-Division champion Handy Finance Naitasiri North in the FRU promotion/ relegation match at the Churchill Park in Lautoka this Saturday.

“We aim to keep our spot in the major union,” said Satala.

“Lautoka is going through a new development process under a new committee this season.”

Meanwhile, former national rep Ifereimi Rawaqa will assist Satala as the forwards’ coach.

Last Saturday, 73 years since the start of the HFC Bank Farebrother Challenge in 1941, Naitasiri North Bulls were routed by holders BLK Nadroga 34- 3 at the Ra Sports ground in Rakiraki last Saturday.

The match kicks-off at 12.30pm.
