The National Federation Party yesterday welcomed the Social Democratic Liberal Party leader, Ro Teimumu Kepa at their head office in Suva.

NFP leader Dr Biman Prasad confirmed the two parties had a meeting regarding the formation of the Opposition to Government.

“Ro Teimumu will be the leader of Opposition and we met her today to discuss the logistics of what the Opposition would do,” Dr Prasad said.

“We have logistics that have to be shared and that needs to be discussed and how the Opposition will be organised.”

Dr Prasad said the people had left them in the Opposition and it was not a matter of engaging with SODELPA but basically being Opposition to the government.

Meanwhile, Ro Teimumu when contacted yesterday said she was in a meeting.

However, messages sent to her via telephone remained unanswered when this edition went to press last night.
