The Vodafone Fiji Secondary School rugby team has arrived safely in Wellington and intensity is high in camp as they gear up for their first game against Australia school boys tomorrow.

Tour co-ordinator Mika Mudreilagi said the players are enjoying the great hospitality provided by the New Zealand School Boy’s Rugby Union and the Horo Whenua Rugby Union.

“The boys are adjusting well to the Wellington weather and we acknowledge the presence of Flying Fijians forwards coach Allan Muir, the boys also had a visit to Otaki College and were greeted in a traditional manner,

“The players enjoyed their time at Otaki College and have also learnt a lot in terms of traditions and cultures is concerned,” he said.

“ The team is in good spirit they are adjusting well to the cold weather , the momentum is high in camp and we are looking forward to a tough encounter against the Australians, we know Australia will provide a tough challenge but the players are ready for the battle.

“The boys had their final workouts at the Levin Domain Stadium today (yesterday) so that they could get used to the venue before meeting Australia,”Mudreilagi said.

The side will play their first game against Australia school boys tomorrow.
