The Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Pio Tikoduadua visited the Water Authority of Fiji’s headquarters on his first day in office yesterday.

This was because he wanted to know the water situation on the ground during this drought season, the visit, he said went well.

“I visited WAF because I wanted to get something on the water situations in the country especially during this drought that we are having,” he said.

“We discussed ways on how to operate in case anything arises during this dry season.”

He confirmed he also had a discussion with former Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Timoci Natuva yesterday.

Mr Tikoduadua said he would first go to the party’s manifesto on infrastructural developments before making any plans for the next four years.
