I am a service provider, say newly-appointed Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou.

He made the comment when he was welcomed alongside his assistant minister, Iliesa Delana by staff of their ministry yesterday.

He said it was important to work together for the betterment of youths and athletes of our country.

“One thing I understand about being a politician is that it is not about what you know, it is all about whom you care about,” Mr Tuitubou said.

The Ministry’s Permanent Secretary, Josefa Sania, was thankful that two ministers were appointed to the ministry.

“This ministry is looking after one of the very important sectors of the economy and I thank the Government for giving us two ministers.

“We will do our best to perform our duties well and contribute to more development in the next four years,” Mr Sania said.
