‘Remove Politics from Ministry’

We should remove politics from this ministry and unite to help build a better Fiji for all Fijians says Minister for Immigration, National Security and Defence, Timoci Natuva.

The former Minister for Works, Transport and Public Utilities made the comment during his farewell service at Department of Works-Mechanical Workshop in Walu Bay yesterday.

Present at the service was the new Minister for Works, Pio Tikoduadua, families, friends and staff from various departments of the ministry.

“Our Government has a vision which we need support in order to serve all Fijians.

“We can only achieve our vision if we work together as one,” Mr Natuva said.

Mr Natuva acknowledged the staff for their hard work and encouraged them to give their total support for their new Minister Mr Tikoduadua.

“I am grateful for your support for the last seven years and I know the new Minister, Pio Tikoduadua will do greater works,” he said.

Meanwhile, Mr Tikoduadua said he knew that through the support of the staff, the ministry would be able to achieve greater things.

“I am looking forward to working with you and I know that we can achieve great things,” he said.
