Interesting to note that some big talk politicians who had travelled in flashy cars during the general election period have quickly adapted to the reality of life. Dickie Bird said this was after a few were sighted travelling in public transport during the weekend.

Defensive Move

A pioneering local ferry company decided to place a media ban yesterday. Dickie Bird said this was a sort of defensive move after it was alleged that one of its ferries was reported to be drifting towards Naigani after it ran out of fuel.

Their other ferry was said to have had to be used for refueling.

Wrong Move

Certain Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) followers are not happy with leader Felix Anthony after he left them as soon as the general election was over.

Dickie Bird pointed out the group alleged he almost caused a split within the party when he stepped out of his union role and came in and took over from Adi Sivia Qoro. This was where they lost a few possible key candidates. Adi Sivia is now back as party leader.
