Buzzetti, believes consistency will be the key for the teams to succeed in the tournament which begins at Subrail Park in Labasa and Prince Charles Park in Nadi.

“This will be a very interesting championship because it’s the last tournament of the season and all teams have been gearing up for an interesting fight,” Buzzetti said.

“Consistency in their first three games will be very important because teams will need to have points to progress through to the semifinals and all the teams and coaches are working hard to qualify.”

“They are playing for 90 minutes and I know teams will be fit but the fittest teams will survive. They have been playing quality football, displaying good skills and using chances well but this will be proven at the championship,” he said.

“We know that everybody wants the trophy but only the best team will get it.”

The first round of games will be held on Saturday at Subrail Park and the second round of games at the ANZ Stadium in Suva next Thursday.
