The Attorney-General Faiyaz Koya will be meeting with the Chief Justice, Anthony Gates and High Court judges on Wednesday.

Mr Koya confirmed this yesterday during the parliamentarians induction programme at the Holiday Inn in Suva yesterday.

“I will be visiting every single department… every court, etc, maybe starting off with the judges and chief justice this Wednesday,” Mr Koya said.

He said he would be continuing the work left by the former Attorney-General Aiyaz – Sayed-Khaiyum.

He expected his ministry’s staff to continue the work they had been doing under Mr Sayed- Khaiyum’s leadership.

“It’s just a continuation of what the previous AG has left behind.

‘‘I’ll still go around to the different departments to see everybody, there’s no major transformation at all just looking after the Ministry of Justice, that’s one thing in the Attorney-General’s chamber.

“Exactly what they are doing now and exactly what they had done with the previous AG. They are tremendous staff that I have and I’m just asking them to continue what they have been doing before,” he said.
