Police captain Maciu Vakaruru warns the Fiji Bitter NFA side they’re all fired up for the final of 2014 RC Manubhai Escott Shield at the ANZ Stadium in Suva tonight.

“We know this is NFA’s  first Escott Shield final in the Suva Rugby competition and we respect that. “ We are looking forward to a great game,” Vakaruru said.

“We have a good record in the Escott Shield but we will not dwell on that as we will try to create another new chapter this year.”

The defending champions will miss the services of players from last year which includes Samu Bola, Sakenasa Aca, Sunia Kubu, Neori Vuidreketi  and Apisai Naqaliva.

NFA captain Epenisi Rigamoto believes hard work enjabled his team to reach the final.

“This is a proud moment for NFA rugby and we acknowledge Fiji Bitter for their continuous support,” Rigamoto said

“It has been a long journey and dedication for us to reach the final and we wish Police the best.”

The final starts at 7.30pm tonight at the ANZ Stadium.
