Style Fiji Show Set For November 29

The 2014 Style Fiji Charity Fashion Show is set for November 29 at the Sheraton Fiji Resort Events Centre on Denarau Island, Nadi.
It is organised by the Project Bula Mai (PBM), a Fiji registered charitable trust registered under the Charitable Trust Act (Cap 1967).
It was established by a group of committed professional citizens in 2011. The show was first held in April 2012 and it will hold its third extravaganza event this year.
Project Bula Mai chairman Adrian Sofield said the show would include five local designers who would present their collections.
“We again look to the excellent support received from our sponsors and the public to raise funds for such a worthy cause which will be of benefit to the whole community,” Mr Sofield said.
“We are currently getting the sponsors in and as soon the deal is done we will notify them. We will also be getting some sports celebrity in for the show.”
Mr Sofield said this year, a major percentage of funds raised at 2014 Style Fiji would be added to those already held in trust for St John.
“The next aim is to buy a fully equipped ambulance for the St John’s Ambulance for the Nadi-based community,” he said.
Meanwhile, the PBM group has been actively involved in upgrading of the Nadi Hospital as well as donating medical equipment and supplies.
