What happened:
All Freight Logistics Suva
remains on track to win the Courts Inter–District Championship (IDC) title on their home ground, ANZ Stadium this coming weekend.
This was after the Gurjit Singh –coached side beat the Labasa 3-2 in the first round at Subrail Park, Labasa yesterday.
Suva  last won the IDC against Labasa in 2011 and they showed they are serious to win it again.
In the 11th minute, Suva’s Kolinio Sivoki scored from a penalty kick.
In the 34th Maciu Dunadamu scored the equaliser.
Halftime: Suva 1- 1 Labasa
In the second-half, Suva continued with their impressive form and extended the lead in the 47th minute with a perfect strike by Ravinesh Karan Singh.
In the 74th minute, Nikhil Chand of the Suva side scored their third goal.
Labasa scored their second goal towards the end through Christopher Waseasela.
Fulltime: Suva 3 –2 Labasa
Star turn:
Nikhil Chand put on a good show sealing the winner for the capital side.
Big plus
Maciu Dunadamu puts Labasa in the race with the equaliser.
Comments:
Suva coach Gurjit Singh said the boys played very well despite the wet weather.
“We’re looking forward to the next game against Nadi next week.
” The boys played well and we can only get better and the target is to win the title.”
Labasa coach Bal Reddy said;
“The wet Subrail Park didn’t help us at all although we managed to two goals.
“We need to win our next game against Tailevu/Naitasiri.
