The Alvin Avinesh- captained Lautoka side needs to step up for their next match against Rewa  on Thursday, says  coach Lambert Sarju.

Defending champions 4R Electrical Ba with 10-man held Lautoka 1-1 during the 2014 Courts Inter-District Championship pool match last Sunday.

“I’m happy with our performance in our first pool game but there are still areas we need to work on,” Sarju said.

The Blues missed on a number of scoring opportunities which could have secured them three points.

Wailotua, Wainibuka native Peni Finau came off the bench for Rusiate Matarerega to score the equaliser in the 95th minute.

Finau, who plays as a defender, might be playing in the striking force against Rewa on Thursday at ANZ Stadium in Suva at 5.30pm.
