The Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort and Pim Pamela teams were crowned winners of the Nadroga/Navosa Men’s and Mixed Netball Association knockout final at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka last Saturday.

The Sepesa Leweniqila captained-Outrigger team scooped the Open Men’s category with a 20-18 extra time win over Salad Bowl.

Outrigger had the services of Waisake Ratu, Sailosi Kunaqio, Jonacani Tilalati, Apisalome Rabo, Semi Nailiko, and Jioji Qaraniqio.

Salad Bowl banked Eruweli Tavutu, Jone Boto, Ratu Osea, Epeli Sikeli, Kelevi Kabuniceva, Ilieasa Bainivalu, Sikeli Tagayawa, and Alipate Driu.

Scores were tied 16-all after the fourth quarter.

Nadroga/Navosa Men’s and Mixed Netball Association president Asesela Botei said it was a tough match.

Botei said they looked forward to the Men’s and Mixed Netball IDC to be played in Nadi.

Meanwhile, Pim Panela Netball Club with the services of Botei, Ateca Qasevakatini, Abba Watkins, and Kitione Natoga came out 13-11 winners over Salad Bowl.

Salad Bowl fielded players like Judy Kumar, Torika Vaka, Seruwaia Makutu, Alisi Fipe, and Peniasi Kurivitu.

The Best Player Award went to Iliesa Bainivalu (Outrigger) while ACSOG took out the Best Dress Award.
