Rewa Football Association president Nazeel Buksh said based on that flashback Lautoka would be out to avenge that loss.

“This game will be a repeat of the B.O.G final and I know that Lautoka are no push-over, they will be out to redeem themselves,” he said.

“This time around it will be more difficult playing Lautoka compared to before.”

However, Rewa will struggle to put together a strong team as some of their senior players are still suffering from niggling injuries.

Among those facing injuries are striker Misale Draunibaka, Tevita Waranivalu, Girish Prasad, Jone Kaloutani, reliable defender Peniame Drova and veteran Lorima Dau.

“The ground conditions last week caused a lot of injuries and right now players are nursing their own injuries.

“Misale (Draunibaka) and Peniame (Drova) are the two we are really concerned with as Misale injured his head while Peniame has a rib injury.

“We will be monitoring them closely and see how well their recovery goes.

“Right now we cannot make any decisions about ruling them out for the remaining games or not.”

Buksh said they had to improve.

“Our last game pointed out areas we need to improve on.

“We missed a lot of goal scoring opportunities.

“We will focus on that this time around,” he said.

“Our defence though has been really good so far and we plan to keep it that way.

“Our scoring department is something that has been a concern lately so we hope to improve before our next game.”

Rewa plays Lautoka at 5.30pm at the ANZ Stadium, Suva, tomorrow.
