Bua Football president Dhirendra Prasad shared the struggle his team  had to go through before bringing the team to Suva for the 2014 Courts Inter-District Championship.

“We had to go through a lot of financial struggles to bring these boys together, As we are in our building phase we need to get our team to reach this level of competition,

“We are trying our best to come up in the next season and to establish ourselves in a good position,” Prasad said.

He said they had hope in their supporters that they would work hand in hand to try and lift the level of competition where his team was at.

“These boys are from Lekutu and Labasa they are very young boys and most of them are unemployed and all they do is play football so we want to take a different approach in the next season,

“We will continue with our fundraising and we are hoping that our supporters from Bua will assist us in everything we do,” he said.

Bua drew 0-0 with Tavua yesterday while Nasinu thumped Seaqaqa 2-0 and Navua thumped Dreketi 2-0.
