FijiFirst Australia chapter president Alan Gork and secretary Jason Narayan flew into the country to be part of the FijiFirst West interfaith thanksgiving service at Churchill Park, Lautoka, yesterday.

Mr Narayan said their members had faith in the vision movement leader and Prime Minister,  Voreqe Bainimarama, had for Fiji.

He said about 30 Australian-Fijians who left Fiji decades ago, had shown interest in returning to invest, either in holiday homes or return for good.

Mr Narayan said Fiji needed a leader who would not discriminate and who saw only the progress of this nation and its people.

“We supported Mr Bainimarama when he came to Sydney on August 22. We had made arrangements for him while there. We are very proud to have been associated with this political movement. This is the way forward for Fiji.”

He said it was a welcome change to see a Prime Minister encouraging and actively taking part in interfaith services. Mr Narayan and his team flew in to lend their assistance to the movement during the elections.

Fiji, he said, could expect a surge in former Fijians coming back for the blue passport.
