Students Impress, Say Coaches

The KBL Lautoka Primary Schools coach made the comment after the finals at the ANZ Stadium yesterday.

Lautoka Primary defeated Labasa Primary 2-1 while Kamil Muslim College of Ba defeated Vunimoli Islamia from Labasa 2-0 in the final.

“The players in Primary and Secondary schools have a lot of depth,” Kumar said.

“Our players deserved to win and if they play like this then they will have a successful career.”

Kamil Muslim College coach Ram Krishna also made the similar comments.

“There are amazing talents in Secondary schools category,” Krishna said.

“With the support of the Fiji Football Association, we are building these players to be the future national reps.”

National Under-20 reps Misiwani Narube and Jonatani Buksh played lead roles for Kamil Muslim College.

Narube played an outstanding game in goal while Buksh scored their second goal to win the final.

Mohammed Zazeel Junior and Buksh scored the goals for Kamil Muslim College.

“Most of our players in the team are in Form 7.

“This is their last year in school,” Krishna said.
