Ebola: Police Chief To Meet Ministry

The Police Commissioner Bernardus Groenewald (pictured),  is meeting officials from the Ministry of Defence this morning to discuss issues relating to the external deployment of police officers in Liberia following the Ebola outbreak in the area.
Mr Groenewald confirmed that the Fiji Police Force had been constantly communicating with the United Nations Health Department to monitor the spread of the disease.
The Fiji Police Force earlier said that Fiji Police officers in Liberia were safe and well looked after.
Ebola was first reported in Guinea, earlier this year. Liberia has become a hot spot, as the disease spreads in West Africa
