Government has applauded the work of the Yaadein Vision group – a charitable organisation that assists the needy in terms of educational, livelihood and medical assistance.
The Yaadein Vision Group Fiji hosted its 14th conference with the theme: ‘Charting the Pathway of Dynamic Education for the Future Generation’ at the Trans International Hotel in Nadi yesterday.
Acting Commissioner Western Luke Moroivalu said the work of the group had painted a colourful image.
“The Government has great pleasure to support the aspirations and endeavour of Yaadein Vision,” Mr Moroivalu said.
He said Yaadein Vision was not a new name in the Western Division and the Government of Fiji.
“We have been collaborating and working in partnership but most importantly that it has left it marks and footprints as far as assistance to the populace,” he said.
The Group was establishment in 2000 to assist primary school education.
Over the years there was novice to look at the plight of the underprivileged Fijian children’s medical clinic where children and adults took advantage at no cost.
Yaadein Vision International founder Bobby Singh Mishra presented the cheque of $31,000 to their Fijian counterpart during the one-day event.
“It is our 14th year of existence and we will continue to build healthy relationship with our counterpart in NZ, US, Canada and Australia to assist those back in Fiji,” Mr Mishra said.
Meanwhile, the YV group is in the preliminary stage of establishing an International School to enhance international technological levels in the outskirts of Nadi Town.
