Shahib Lead Fiji Muslim

Lautoka’s Zibraaz Sahib will lead the AAAK Rentals-sponsored Fiji Muslim team in the 9th Fiji Australia New Zealand Canada and America (FANCA) tournament which kicks off at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori tomorrow.

Sahib will be assisted by experienced Navua goalkeeper Sheik Moshin as vice-captain.

Team manager Mohammed Rafiq said they have named a strong squad which included district reps.

“Sahib is an experienced midfielder as he has played in FANCA tournaments over the years alongside Sheik (Moshin),” Rafiq said.

“We have named 22 players from the 26-member squad over the weekend.”

“We’re looking at giving a good game to overseas teams.”

Rafiq applauded major sponsor AAAK Rentals and Tours and co-sponsors MRecht Accessories and AJYNK Electrical Limited. Tournament ends on Sunday.
