All Freight Logistics Suva plan to paint the capital city white when they celebrate their 2014 Courts Inter-District Championships and the 2014 Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League wins this Saturday.

Suva Football Association secretary Shalen Prasad confirmed there would be a march and presentation planned for the big weekend.

“The march will start at 2pm from Flea Market to Sukuna Park,”Prasad said.

The Gurjit Singh-coached side has been the most consistent team having won the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League.

Coach laments misses

Shop N Save Nadi was gracious in defeat as they went down to All Freight logistics Suva in the final of the Courts Inter-District Championship at the ANZ Stadium, Suva last Sunday.

Nadi coach Kamal Swamy said they tried their best to win.

“We had our chances,”he said.

Swamy said it was unfortunate that their own player scored against them.

Former Nadi striker Napolioni Qasevakatini scored the winning goal in the 114th minute after Nadi defence made a mistake.

“It’s sad for Nadi as our own player scored against us,” Swamy said.

“He (Qasevakatini) wanted to play for Suva and that’s his own choice but we can’t do much when a player decides to leave.

“We will now concentrate on for the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League.”
