Development Needs Planning
We need to plan our development in a systematic and smart way to make our resources reach the very people that need them most, says Government Whip Semi Koroilavesau.
Delivering his maiden speech in Parliament yesterday, Mr Koroilavesau encouraged the 50 members of the House to work together for the betterment of this country.
“My visits around Fiji has given me an overview of the huge advances made in infrastructural developments and I believe it has never been done before in Fiji,”Mr Koroilavesau said.
He has been employed in the tourism industry for 20 years running a successful cruise company, Captain Cook. He was also in the Naval Division of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces where he finished with the rank of a Commander.
He acknowledged the staff of Captain Cook Cruises, his family and also his supporters for their support.
“Together as Fijians we will be stronger,” he said.
