Jack’s of Fiji is supporting breast cancer awareness in Fiji, in partnership with the Fiji Cancer Society Western branch.

Proceeds from sales of merchandise like Tee-shirts, bags, pins and hand bands would go to the society.

The company’s marketing manager, Chandrika Maelge said they were proud to be part of the initiative.

“We just want to continue the awareness which is why we are engaging ourselves more in this. We have had positive feedbacks on the merchandise. They seem to be selling really fast and we will continue to do this in the coming years,” Ms Maelge said.

Breast cancer survivor Beverly McElrath was grateful for the company’s initiative.

“We have been partners in many activities with Jack’s of Fiji but we have never gone this big. We are very grateful for this,” Ms McElrath said.

Pinktober merchandises will be available at Jack’s of Fiji store at Lautoka, Nadi, Port Denarau, MHCC in Suva, Pier Street and Damodar City.

The money raised from the merchandises sales will go towards creating more awareness on breast cancer in Fiji.
